HOPE GARDENS

HOPE Lab’s urban garden is the primary site for its biobehavioral interventions and is located at The Ohio State University Waterman Agricultural and Natural Resources Laboratory in Columbus. Partnerships extend this work to other Ohio communities, supporting healthy lifestyle behaviors and advancing the University’s land grant mission.

Waterman Farms

Waterman Farms is a 261-acre interdisciplinary research facility that includes the Franklin County Extension Office with space for education and cooking demonstrations. HOPE Gardens spans more than five acres, where participants harvest fruits, vegetables, and herbs while receiving evidence-based education on selection, storage, and preparation aligned with recommended dietary patterns.
